Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church - worship and music committee

The Worship and Music Committee oversees the preparation, implementation, and evaluation of all worship and music events at Grace, in conjunction with the Pastor and Music Director.

Join us in the following areas of work:

Greeters
Prepare the hearts of members, visitors, and guests for worship by welcoming everyone to Grace with a smile and a warm handshake.
Ushers
Provide a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for all members and guests through greeting, distributing bulletins, receiving the offering, praying, and assisting with any problems that may arise.
Altar Guild
Prepare and display the appropriate altar paraments, and prepare the sacraments for worship.
Nursery
Supervise young children so that their parents may participate in worship.
Vocalists
Sing special music as a member of the Adult Choir, a song leader, or a soloist.
Chime Choir
Play special music by ringing the choir chimes.
Instrumentalists
Provide instrumental accompaniment for worship individually or as part of a group.
Drama
Prepare and present skits, dramas, and dramatic readings in worship services.
Visual arts
Be involved in the planning and implementation of ways to visually enhance worship.
Communion Assistant
Assist with serving communion.
Assistant Minister
Assist the Pastor in leading worship.
Lector
Read the scripture lessons in worship.
